And now, here's your host, Adam Niffen

All right. Welcome everybody to the Fix Your Gym podcast. My name is Adam Niffen and I am your host. I appreciate you guys tuning in. I'm super excited for our guest today. We have Peter Im from Fitness Fix Pro. Really cool guy. We met at Life Fitness Training up in Chicago a couple months back and just kind of connected. And Peter's got a new business that he is launching out in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. super down-to-earth guy and has a cool story where he is working part-time or working for another company, a full-time job and decided he wanted to be a business owner and starting his fitness equipment service business up on the side as he's working full time at this other job and starting this kind of side hustle thing and then moving in the direction of starting up a full fledged fitness equipment service business, which I think is a really cool, cool thing. I'm excited to hear your story and all the details that's involved in that. But real quick before we get going, I want to give a shout out to our sponsor, Ruben Hand at FieldTech Fitness Solutions. He's been Ruben has been behind us basically this whole time, supporting us, helping us, giving us... He's been on the podcast a couple times, but really solid dude. So he's got a platform, a software for field tech... Sorry, fitness equipment service company and install companies. Basically, so if your business installs or services fitness equipment, you definitely need to check out the FieldTech app. It is a complete software application built specifically for the fitness equipment industry. So it eliminates the need for multiple software platforms. You don't have to keep struggling with software designed for eight pack or plumbing companies or anything like that. It is built just for us and engineered for fitness equipment service companies. Technicians can get on there, view your schedules, manage work orders, add notes regarding work performed on equipment. Right from your phone as well, you can schedule service calls, installations, equipment relocations, things like that. So you really can streamline all of your services in your business. You can manage bids. Recurring preventative maintenance is a cool feature that he has on there as well. Um, but yeah, field tech fitness solutions. Um, check Ruben handout, connect with him. Um, if you, if you need any more information on that, you can also get with me and I can pull in the right direction. But, um, with that being said, um, we'll, we'll get right into it with Peter. Thanks again, man, for, for your time and for, for coming on. It's been cool connecting with you, but tell us a little bit about just yourself and kind of where you come from.

Adam Niffen

Yeah, thanks, Adam, for having me on. You're a cool guy. We met at Life Fitness, and we were able to connect. And we met Dan with Huff& Puff. So that was a great meetup. So yeah, I'm from LA. Go Dodgers. I moved to Utah four years ago during COVID. So I moved out here to buy a home initially, but then that was the height of the market in Utah. So I was unable to buy one, but I'm still trying. I love Utah because the mountains are a quick drive, no traffic, because LA is notoriously bad for traffic. I work full time for Northrop Grumman. I've been with them for 17 years. And I have a really flexible schedule or really easy schedule. I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and I'm off four days. Oh, wow. So the first couple years I had, you know, because I bought a, it's called the ICONS ski pass, all you can ski. So I had fun, you know, but then like, at the end of the, you know, The winter season, I was like, you know what? You know, besides playing golf, I love golf. But I was like, I got to do something with this time. And I've always aspired to become a business owner with a buddy of mine back home. But we could never figure out what to do. So then it just clicked one night where, you know, I'm going to start a fitness service provider company. Because the job I had before this was with a service provider in Southern California called the Dumbbell Man. I did that for about five years, and I absolutely love that job. Every aspect from, it's basically, you know, I receive my calls for the day, and I'm on the road all day. I'm basically my own boss. I just love the freedom of that job, meeting new people, I like to think I'm a social butterfly. I just love meeting people, hearing their stories, and learning from other people's experiences. So then that made me launch Fitness Fix Pro. And I actually had my first residential customer last week, which is like my juices flowing. And I just want to like, hit the ground running now. Like, you know, I was just full blast, you know? Yeah. So it's really exciting, man.

Now that is exciting. I love that, man. Being in the business for so, so long now, I was trying to think back to my residential job, man. I don't even know if I can But I remember the early days of just like, I do remember one of my first big commercial customers and that I landed and I'm actually still with them today. And it was a disaster for us. But she like, She was a really cool about it. Uh, she had like this really, she had these old like life fitness treadmills. I don't know if I can't remember like the HR 9,500s that they've got rollers in them that are like, they look like tanks.

Oh, I actually, I do remember that. Yeah.

And so like all the bolts were like, they hadn't had service. Um, like all the bolts were run. And so we had to grind these bolts off to get to change the belt and deck. And so there's sparks flying in this. I'm like, oh God, she's never gonna hire us again. You know what I mean? So then it ended up being a friend and a lifelong customer, man. Oh, nice. Then to what you were saying about the people aspect of it. It is a cool thing. You meet a lot of cool people. And then get to... I wasn't. I was 21 when I first started. So I wasn't a business person by any means. I worked at a warehouse. You know what I mean? I just wanted to... I just had that desire to do something different. So, will you explain a little bit more about... What is the... Are you an engineer? Or what do you do exactly at that company?

So I'm the senior tech, the senior technician on the floor. I was hired to, to mentor and train the new, the new hires because the program I'm on, that's all I can tell you. The program is the B21, the new bomber. So yeah. But we didn't have enough skilled technicians. So I was hired on with because of my experience to help these new hires. Gotcha. So you guys are, I mean, yeah, there was a lot of mistakes being made, just simple ones. So I'm just basically teaching them the fundamentals of the work.

So is that a military job? Cause you are, you're an army vet, right?

Yes. No. Um, it was kind of like a chance meeting. Um, Like I said, I was a field service technician, but then the reason I quit, because there was nowhere, it was a small company, and either you're in sales or you're a technician, and there was no real room for growth. So, you know, I guess I matured at the time, and so, you know what, I need to look for another job with, you know, better benefits and, you know, room for growth, professional growth. So then I took a month off and then I just bumped into a friend at the casino. And then he said he worked for Northrop Grumman. He says, come on board. And it's like, it was a, you know, entry level position. And I, you know, 17, 17 years later, here I am.

That's awesome, man. Okay. Yeah. Northrop Grumman. Okay. I knew that. I should know that. But that is a, that's a pretty large company that deals in what aeronautics and defense stuff. Yes. A lot of our defense, obviously if they're working on the, um, interesting stuff, man.

Um, it's fascinating, man.

Yeah. Um, but so, but you're only kind of doing that a few days a week. How do you like, What, what was kind of the process of, is it just like the extra time that you had that you're like, Oh, I want to do something else. Um, or kind of where's your head?

Well, honestly, man, I've been doing it for so long. And it's boring. It's just the daily grind. It just bores the hell out of me, man. And then I was thinking, the reason I decided to start Fitness Fix Pro is because I really love that job as a field service tech. I met so many people. I mean, I met The Rock. I met Lou Ferrigno at his home. I met all these celebrities, seen all these celebrities and I just absolutely, I mean, that job was like the best I've ever had. I mean, if I could do that, if I could go back in time, I would do it again.

Cool, man. Well, uh, that makes sense. That makes sense. Um, I don't know. It's just like thinking about like, you know, it sounds cool to like be working on like new bombers and stuff, but I bet when really, when it comes down to it, like the systems and processes of the whole process, it's probably got to be very, very specific and like just, yeah, yeah. So I can see what you're saying there, you know. Well, welcome to the business world, man. It's exciting world. It's a, it's a crazy, crazy, uh, you know, it's, uh, I've heard some people say, and I've found this to be true that business is war a lot of times.

Oh yeah, it is, man.

Uh, That's, that's very cool. So, okay. So you're, so you're brand new. You just got your first residential call. That's cool. What was, how, what was that like, man?

She actually, uh, uh, messaged me on Yelp, which I didn't think people use. So I, you know, I, about a month ago, I just posted it on Yelp and then, you know, she sent me a text the last week and I'm like, okay, let's do it. I was like, wow. And then, you know, after I finished the job, I was like, Oh my God. But you know, I got that feeling back of, you know, you know, working, you know, years ago in the industry. And I absolutely love it, man.

Awesome, man. Yeah. And then you're, I mean, you're doing the right things too. You got set up the life fitness and you got to training and meeting people and stuff like that and everything like that. And you're doing some calls for them. Yeah.

Yeah, I had a one call with Planet Fitness. And they had a Life Fitness has a rowing machine that's like a, like a water driven. I mean, the water is the resistance. So that was kind of interesting to work on.

But those things are definitely interesting. The water. Yeah. It can be a pain in the butt to change the water out on or things and stuff. Sometimes you got to change out. But yeah, cool, man. We talked a little bit about when we were before we started. What have you been doing? What does a person do when they're brand new like you to start getting these jobs? What has your process been like?

So when I opened that Yelp account, it was a paid service. Because you can open up a Yelp account for free, like a personal one. Or even the business one, you can open up for free. But I paid for the service. But it can get really expensive. I don't know if you look into that, but it's really expensive. So I'll continue for about a month and see where it goes because I did get that lead. Yeah, well, I got a couple of leads, but she's the one that actually signed up. So that was good. But I just started this

I haven't used Yelp much, man. That's not one that I've utilized much.

But it doesn't work. Yeah. I've used it in the past just for like, you know, looking up restaurants and stuff like that. But now I just got a phone call with my website designer and he showed me the website and I love it. And we're going to go live today. What I guess I was naive when I started this, I thought you just, I just assumed that you just thought you just made a website and it appeared on the first page of Google, but no, there's a lot more to that. There's a lot more to that. So I got to pay this guy, you know, uh, it's called the SEO. Uh, I forgot what the acronym stands for, but it basically helps you get on the first page of Google because nobody looks on the second or third page, maybe the second, but nobody really looks on the third page. So, I think that is a great tool. Well, I know that's a great tool because he looked up the analytics and the competition in my area, and there's only one company. There's a franchisee called Fitness Machine Technicians. They get basically the majority of the clicks in this area. So, I need to, you know, take some of their clicks. And I think this, I'm confident this will help my, my customers or help me get more customers.

One thing that I'll just say my experience in that is that the website... When I first started, my company was called Metro Fitness Repair back in 2010. That is how I got almost all my business. At first, it was Google. I did the SEO. I built my website myself. It was like a little drag and drop website. And I paid for Google advertising. I paid for paper. Yeah. And so that's a little... As you work your way up and you optimize your website to get higher and higher on the rankings, the Google Ads puts you at the top. You have to pay for it. Oh, yeah.

But it puts you... Oh, yeah.

But for me... And we still use this today a lot. But it definitely pays for itself. Oh, yeah.

I did look into that option, but at this point, I just started. It's not really cost effective because I can see people just clicking my website and then I just get charged for it, you know, like some devious people out there or my competition, you know, so I don't know how to use that.

Um, but it, it's enough leads, um, at least for us in our markets, leads to pay for itself. Um, but, but yeah, definitely get that, you know, the website like optimized and stuff first and then maybe look into something.

I can't wait, man. I'm just talking to you about this. It's just like kidding my blood flowing, man.

Dude, it's, it's exciting stuff, man. And there's a, there's a lot, a lot more to, uh, to it and to come and a lot of cool things you can do. Yeah. Stuff like that. Are there any other things like are you planning on doing like social media or things like that? Because I mean, When you start your business, obviously, it's usually all about marketing. How am I going to get my brand out there? How am I going to first build a brand? And then what is my vision for the company and how am I going to get that out to the public?

Yeah. So I opened up a Facebook and Instagram business account. So, I mean, we've had this chat before. So, I try to, like, hashtag, you know, what's relevant in this area and, you know, hashtag, like, for instance, I repaired the Planet Fitness, you know, that rower. So, I'll, like, hashtag, like, Planet Fitness or Life Fitness and, like, something like Utah Fitness or something, you know, along those lines. And then also, you mentioned you try to click on or DM mom and pop fitness places or just anyone that has something related to fitness. So that's what I'm going to try to do more of. Which I think will help greatly. Yeah.

Sure. I did a lot of... When I first started and I'm about to start doing it again, I just hired a salesman as well. door-to-door, man. Just going out meeting people, knocking on doors, going to apartment complexes, going to hotels. Yeah. And that was a huge benefit to my business at first. And first of all, it just got me into that mindset. That motivated mindset of just getting out there and getting uncomfortable. You know what I mean? Yeah. Some stuff that I don't really want to do. And then the result was Well, once you started making some sales, you get that adrenaline rush, you get that reward for, you know what I mean? It's like... Oh, yeah. ...kind of keeps you fueled to keep going. But door-to-door sales is not always the funnest, but it has a lot of value. You know what I mean? Oh, yeah. Yeah. So just getting out there meeting people and stuff like that. But... Yeah.

I kind of did. So I told you... during when I met you that I was going to email a bunch of apartment property management companies. I think I emailed about 150 companies and believe it or not, no one's reached back to me. So once I get this website live and my website looks more professional, I'm just going to follow up on my emails.

Yeah, for sure. And multifamily or apartments too. And I don't know where you're at with this, but they're going to require general liability insurance, workers' compensation. Oh, yeah. Even if you don't have any other employees, most of those... Yeah. Most of those property management companies still require you to have workers' compensation insurance, which was... which was hard for me when I first started up because I didn't have the money really to pay for workers' compensation insurance. Everything that I was doing in my business, I had to generate the money to do it. You know what I mean? Yeah. So is that something that you have set up or had any issues getting set up?

I got it all covered. Yeah. Nice. It's just getting through to them and just, you know, opening that door. No.

And I asked just because I, you know, what, what are some, uh, what are some of the other things too, that like new, new guys coming in, um, starting up businesses, like what are some of the things, some of what are some of the struggles that you're running into most? Is it kind of like what you talked about there where it's just like getting ahold of customers, finding who the decision makers are or anything else?

It's just opening that door, man. And that's the biggest hurdle. I mean, well, actually, let me backtrack. The biggest hurdle is understanding how SEO works. And because without that, I think... I mean, with that, it opens up a ton of opportunities. Yeah.

The cool thing about R3 when it comes to that is that Oh, for example, like a plumbing company or a roofing company or something like that. Like your SEO... One of the main factors in SEO is how long your website has been a registered domain, right? Yeah. If you're brand new and somebody else has had a website for 3 years, they're almost always going to show up before you just... Of course. even if all your keywords are great and your blogs are there or whatever. But just that age factor is huge. So in roofing companies and plumbing companies, you have 50 other companies that you're dealing with in one given area. With ours, you have maybe 2, maybe 3. In big cities, you may have 4 or 5. So it's a little bit easier to come up pretty fast with your SEO if you're good at it. Or at least show up second on the first page, second or third.

Yeah. Well, my designer, website designer, he said, because there's only a handful of companies that provide this type of service in my area. So he said, based on that, he can probably get it up on the first page in about a month or two. So yeah. And so I'm really excited about that.

Yeah, that's cool, man. Another thing that plays into that, there's places you can go to like Treadmill Doctor, Fitness Repair Parts. And so anytime that another company or another website links your website from their website, it increases your SEO. Yeah. Or you can go to a treadmill doctor and pay them for a little advertising spot on their web. So when somebody orders a treadmill belt from them or whatever, your name will pop up and it'll say like, Hey, if you need service, contact a fitness pro out in Utah. He's in your area or whatever. But it also provides a link to your business. Um, which can kind of help, you know, build that SEO. So, I mean, it's, it's better with, with the, the search engines and stuff, but, um, that's actually a good point.

I didn't really think about that. Yeah.

I'll use that in this repair part and treadmill doctor both do that. Okay. And I think people, and I haven't done this in a long time because I haven't really had a need to as much, but I think people are getting a decent amount of business from those links to from, from the actual, when people are ordering parts, um, and stuff. Um, and I think it's too much to do it. I, uh, the, um, treadmill doctor lady, I can't remember her name, but like the owner, I think her and her husband own it are in the, um, Fix your gym group. Um, okay. So maybe I'll connect you with, I've been trying to get them to come on the podcast. They've got a pair. I've heard from a lot of people, they've got a really cool story and they got a really good, have you ever used treadmill doctor?

No, I've, I've went on the website.

I used them a lot in the beginning, man, when I first started my business, because they just had cheap aftermarket parts and they had, you know, really easy system. Yeah. So order parts and they have all the parts you need for like all the North track, the perform stuff, you know, and things like that. Um, okay. I don't use them as much anymore, but I use fitness repair parts a lot still. Okay. But But yeah, man, what else? What's your plan? What's your strategy for the next... You got the busy season coming up. Are you going to hit it hard? What's your plans?

Well, yeah. That's why I think it was time for me to upgrade the website and pay for SEO service because I plan on... I hope I get too much business. But I honestly don't even, this might sound ignorant, but I don't really have a strategy. I just need to get the business. Then I can go from there. I don't know if that sounds ridiculous.

No, that's exactly how I did it too. I will say that not having a plan for me, ultimately, once I got big enough, I was like, Damn, I really should have built out some of these things before. Yeah, yeah. But no, I get it. I mean, sometimes that's just the way that we do it, the way we got to do it. But it sounds to me too like... You mentioned that you did the training and mentoring for that other company. Wow. And stuff. And that's been one of my biggest struggles or main focuses is learning that hiring training and firing process and developing of employees and stuff like that. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Sounds like you have some, at least some experience with that. Do you plan on getting that big or do you want to just kind of stay like, hey, I want to do this by myself and make a good, a decent chunk of money? Or do you plan on throwing that thing?

No, man, I want to grow big. I don't, I want to retire early. I don't want to retire when I'm in my late sixties. That's another reason. Well, the big reason, I'm sorry, not big. There was a reason why I started this. Cause I don't, you know, I want to eventually have people under me and let them, you know, thrive too, you know? Yeah.

Yeah, for sure. For sure. Um, Very cool, man. So the company that you worked for before, you said you were a technician for that company?

Yeah. They're still in business. They're called the Dumbbell Man. They have two locations in the city of Torrance and in Vegas.

Nice. So how long ago was that?

That was 17 years ago, man.

A lot of change in the fitness industry.

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I mean, even during the training, I was like, wow, this, I mean, I mean, basic components and the layout is the same, but the technology is just, you know.

I like that new line so much. A new line from Life Fitness that had like all the, like the lights going down the side that you can change the... Oh, yeah.

The high end. Yeah. That's crazy, man.

wild stuff, man. There's all kinds of crazy stuff coming out, man. Um, so what else? Any other, any other things that are like struggles you're facing yet? Um, you know, have you tried reaching out?

So one thing that you did touch on is like, uh, to get more business, I'm going to reach out to the mom and pop's retailers and ask them, you know, I mean, kind of work with them and give you a little kickback, you know, and give me some customers. And then go from there and see. And then ask, because I don't, I only provide repair services. So, I don't do installations or delivery. So, I'll ask. So, I don't know how, I don't know what the etiquette is. So, I'm just kind of playing by ear. So, I'll just ask like my competitors, you know, if you need, if you don't have, if you're just overloaded with work, just give me some. But if people are going to ask me if do you, you know, install or deliver, then I'll give you that business.

100% if another, if another company came to me right now, another service company was like, Hey, do you have any service calls that you'd be willing to pay? I'd be like, hell yeah, I do. I want a percentage. Um, but if you want to do them, um, absolutely. I'd pass off. I'd pass off a lot of service to somebody else right now. Yeah. And I think a lot of people who, who have been established, especially in a big city are struggling with getting employees or in between, you know, there's, a decent turnover rate when it comes to technicians, it seems like. So maybe they're like in between, but, um, you know, we're turning down jobs, you know what I mean? So it's like, damn, I'd like to give them to somebody. I bet there's, you know, there's people in that situation, um, you know, in, in your market or nearby.

Oh yeah. Because, uh, yeah, because when I did, uh, my research, Prior to starting this, I contacted all the service providers and some were like, you know, behind schedule or like, you know, months, they're like a month behind. So I'm pretty sure they can give me some work. And I'll, you know, help them out too.

Yeah, for sure. There's a I'll put you in contact with a couple people to that. So I have a, well, we'll talk more about that.

Yeah, yeah.

But yeah, I can definitely plug you in with some people to help get you some stuff too. Yeah, cool man.

I appreciate it.

I don't know.

As far as the strategy, I don't, I'm just going to, this sounds very naive, but I'm just going to go with the flow and see, you see where I need to, what areas I need to address or what I need to improve on and just go from there.

Yeah, for sure. I mean, kind of learn, learn as you go. That's the cool thing about business, man. Is that like, okay, I'm not like a savvy business person by any means. Like that's, I didn't... I'm not educated. I didn't go... I have a little bit of college behind me, things like that. But I came from an upper-lower class family. We did have a business growing up, but it went under. And then we moved... And then we were in the printing industry. And so I ran printing presses for manufacturers and stuff. But I have no really business knowledge. And even to this day, I wouldn't even say I would consider myself a business savvy person. But what I would say is that business has forced me to become the best version of myself or work on becoming the best version of myself. It's forced me into becoming better. Whether it's skills of learning just the basics of SEO optimization, how to build a website, how to get better at Microsoft Excel, and how to format emails. All of these skills. I've done all my books. Everything in my business, I've done myself first. You know what I mean? So from bookkeeping on QuickBooks pulling reports, and creating even the chart of accounts and stuff like that, and reconciling the account to a certain extent, and learning about taxes, and learning about... And then as I grew, as my business grew, each time my business would grow to another level, I would have to grow to another level. I'm always growing and becoming this better person. You know what I mean? That's okay. And like now I'm in a situation like we're so slammed that like I have to become so disciplined now. You know what I mean? Like, If I don't wake up at four o'clock in the morning, I'm not getting all my work done. It's just not happening. There's no possible way. So I have to read books because I'm trying to learn this new sales CRM right now. I have to study and I have to train. Me and my guy, one of my new sales guys were at our warehouse this morning at 5am. You know what I mean? Training on sales and like, and I had to get service calls and had our, we had our seven o'clock meeting and stuff like that. So like scheduling and time blocking, becoming more disciplined with my time back, back earlier on when it was just me. I don't want to talk about myself this whole time, but, um, it, it wasn't like that, man. You know what I'm saying? But as you go and how you grow, your business grows and you grow with it. It's cool. It's a really cool process.

Yeah, it is, man. And, uh, I look forward to, you know, the future. I guess because I'm running it solo, there's days I like slack, but once I got that first custom, last week was very good. And once I got a little taste of what it was like and what the potential could be, it just gets me going, man. I love it.

For sure, man. And that's a struggle, too, as a business owner, too. Especially for me, I work out of my house. We just... I mean, I have an office and stuff like that. But for a long time, I worked out of my house and stuff like that. I'm just like, do I go do sales today or do I take a nap?

Exactly. No, I know what you're talking about, man.

A lot of the days, I made the wrong decision or I made a decision and... Wow. Yeah, 100% man. It takes it takes discipline. It takes struggle.

It takes you know, and but but the cool thing is is that you have Yeah, yeah Because you know, yeah, I I work from home so I'm you know, I'm like, okay, well take a little break Yeah, let me lay down. Let me lay down for a little bit. Because you know, I'm just grinding on the computer and sending emails and like, I forget like I need to take a little break. So when I do take a break, it ends up being like a two hour nap. I'm like, oh my god. So you know, that's why I got to be more focused and disciplined.

It's beautiful on one end because I don't have that boss saying, you need to get your ass to work. But on the other hand, that voice in my head becomes that, because it'll tell me what I'm doing.

I know what you're talking about, man. Another thing is, I mean, I don't need, I mean, I'm not desperate for money because I have my other job. I don't need to pay the bill. I'm not worried about paying the bills because it's already covered. So that's kind of like, you know, where the discipline, where I need to be more disciplined and focused.

Yeah, yeah, for sure. Now that's, that's interesting. See, I was not in that. I'm the type of person to put everything on the line. Like, you know, I was like, moving from work one day and I was like, hey, I quit my job and I'm starting this business. And my, my, well, she's my ex-wife now, which probably tells her, she's like, what?

Are you kidding me?

Like, like, yeah, it is what it is, but that's good, man. That's, that's, um, that's the smart way to do it. And, um, you know, keep that income, you know, on the side and stuff like that. Um, yeah, that seems like the smarter, smarter way to go about it.

Um, yeah. Plus, couple with the fact that I think for now, four days is good to start. Yeah. And the fact that Utah, most of, most things are closed on Sunday anyway, so nobody really works.

Yeah, for sure. No. And with your schedule, I mean, that, that opens up, yeah, you have a, you know, I guess if you want to, you know, work six, what do you say? Friday, Saturday and Sunday is what you work?

Yeah.

Yeah. I mean, that's almost perfect. Yeah. On day and get three days a week, you know, working on your business at first. Yeah, exactly. We do a lot of stuff. Very cool, man. Well, um, we're, uh, we're about at the 30 minute Mark, I think here. And that's usually about keeping fairly, fairly short. Um, you know, and everything like that. But, um, I really appreciate you, uh, taking the time to come on and kind of share your experience. And, uh, and I, I, I think it'd be helpful for, um, for people to just kind of see, you know, like what, what it's, what it's like getting started.

And, um, and hopefully, hopefully I was, uh, of used to or any, any type of help for people that want to start, but, um, sure. No, I guess more to entertaining than anything.

Yeah. And, uh, you know, a reminder too, for me, it's like, remember those beginning days, man, it was not easy. So, I mean, I get the struggle, man. Yeah. everything like that. So, um, and that's kind of where, like, hopefully we can help as fix your jam and the community that we're building is, you know, to help, um, help guys like you get started off on the right foot, you know, whether it's just, you know, you're out on jobs and you're like, Hey, how the hell do I, I can't get all the tech support. It's Saturday or something. Like, how the hell do I, I do the, me and Jason from Arkansas fitness repair. We were talking back and forth all the time. Like, Hey dude, how in the hell do you fix this? still happens. There's new products coming. But we connected through that group and stuff like that. So even if it's just little things like that, hopefully there's a ton of people in the group that We'll help you along the way. You don't have to do it alone. Like a lot of us did, you know what I mean? Um, so yeah, don't be afraid to reach out for help. Dan from Huff and Puffs, a super good guy. That's always willing.

Oh, he's a great guy, man. Yeah.

Smart guy. Um, Ruben, another guy that's, that's, but then just has a solid, you know, business and it's all about helping others and stuff like that, you know? So, um, But yeah, man, I'm excited for you. And hopefully we can continue the conversation and maybe have you on every six months or so and kind of like get updated. Yeah. Yeah.

I'm excited. Yeah. I'm excited for that. Yeah.

So. All right, man. I really appreciate it. I'm going to I'm going to end this here. And then, yeah, we'll talk to you next time.

Yeah. Oh, one thing I like to say, uh, you got a second. Yeah. Yeah. So, so it was great meeting you at that, uh, life fitness training. And, uh, I love what you started with this, uh, Facebook community. It's really helpful for, you know, the people in our industry and yeah, Ruben and Dan were fantastic. And Ruben has actually gave me a couple of leads and Dan is very helpful. And hopefully I'll meet you guys in the future.

No, for sure. And I want to get everybody together to hear soon. We've been doing an infill in our warehouse and stuff like that. And I want to kind of have like a working event where we kind of get everybody together. Because that was really cool when we met in Chicago at Dan's warehouse or his office.

Yeah, it was. Yeah. And I appreciate you inviting me. It was a great opportunity.

Sure. And hopefully I kind of want to do that on like maybe a bigger level and have some like speak. Yeah. Like maybe a little like workshop of like, Hey, how do you, you know, um, you know, somebody speak on marketing or financial or whatever the case is. Um, just different things that we can kind of help, um, you know, build our business and take our business to the next level or whatever the case is, you know?

So, yeah, do it, man. I mean, if you need help, reach out. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah.

For sure, man. So thank you. Thank you again. And I'm sure we'll talk soon.

Yeah. Thank you for having me, brother.
